AbbeyField Strathspey Society provides very sheltered accommodation for the elderly at AbbeyField House in the beautiful Highland town of Kingussie. Please note that AbbeyField Strathspey Society is not affiliated to The Abbeyfield Society in England.
AbbeyField House is only some 300 yards from Kingussie's busy High Street with its Post Office, bank, pharmacy, newsagents and a variety of food, clothes and gift shops yet enjoys a peaceful setting with open views south across Strath Spey to the hills and mountains of the Cairngorms. The House also looks across the tree lined Gynack Burn to the carefully landscaped Gynack Gardens - which are well tended to produce a colourful display through much of the year. Our own garden is tended in consultation with residents.
"We appreciate that moving home requires a lot of careful thought and discussion with family and friends. Don’t hesitate to phone us with your questions and a friendly chat in the first instance. If you wish to make an appointment, we will be delighted to show you around and introduce you to other residents who can tell you their views about their home.
"We can often arrange a trial visit or arrange accommodation at a nearby hotel. If you like the idea of making your home at AbbeyField Strathspey but you are not quite ready to make the move yet, do let us know and we will contact you as and when suitable rooms become available."
