AbbeyField House is a traditional Highland stone-built residence which has been carefully adapted with the latest necessities for the elderly.
Very close to all the town's facilities, the House has its own garden and enjoys lovely outlooks to the South across the Bowling Green and Putting Green to the Cairngorm Mountains, to the West across the River Gynack to Gynack Gardens and North across the town to the foothills of the Monadhliath Mountains.
Kingussie is well served by rail and coach services and the House is a short stroll from both the train station and the bus stop - as well as several hotels - making it easy for relatives and friends to visit residents.
AbbeyField Strathspey has been here since 1974 and our Housekeeper, Lally Wilson, has looked after residents for most of that time. She has instilled an informal, discreet relationship between her staff and House residents to ensure that this is truly their home with their independence and privacy respected always.
